Taktum for bandmates, the setlist app

Last updated Saturday 31 October 2026.

Your band leader invited you to Taktum, the setlist app for cover and party bands. This guide covers what to do first: open the setlist in the gig view, set your own key or capo, fix a chart if you are a member, and put Taktum on your phone.

Open the setlist

Open Setlists and choose a setlist. Choose Open gig view to play from it. On a phone, add Taktum to your home screen so it is one tap away: open taktum.app in Safari or Chrome and use Add to Home Screen.

Set your own key or capo

In the gig view, open ⋮, then Display. Transpose the song or set a capo. Only you see the change. The chart the band shares stays as it is.

Fix a chart

Owners, admins and members can edit charts. Open the song, choose Edit, change the chord or lyric and let it save. The song keeps a history of every edit, so a change can always be undone from History. A viewer can read and play every chart but not edit; ask your band’s Owner if you need to.

Your role

The Owner and admins manage people and settings. Members add and edit songs and setlists. Viewers browse and play. Your role is shown in the band menu.
