Play a gig from the Taktum setlist app

Last updated Saturday 31 October 2026.

The gig view is the part of Taktum, the setlist app for cover and party bands, that you play from. It shows one chart at a time, big enough to read from a distance, with no menus in the way. This guide covers moving through the setlist, auto-scroll, the click and your own key.

Open the gig view

Open a setlist and choose Open gig view. The first time, a short hint lists the keys and taps. Press ? any time, or open Display and choose How it works, to see it again.

Move through the setlist

  • Swipe sideways, or use the arrow keys, to go to the previous or next song.
  • Tap the left or right side of the chart to scroll a page up or down.
  • Tap the middle, or press Enter, to start or pause auto-scroll.
  • The strip at the bottom shows what comes next. Choose Setlist to see the whole list.

Auto-scroll, count-in and click

Auto-scroll moves the chart down the song while you play. Click plays the song’s tempo, and Count in plays a bar or more before you start. Set how many bars Count in plays from the ⋮ menu. A song needs a BPM for Click and Count in.

Your key and capo

Open ⋮, then Display, to transpose a song or set a capo. These are yours alone: the rest of the band sees the chart as it is.

Put Taktum on your phone

Add Taktum to your home screen so the setlist is one tap away. On an iPhone, open taktum.app in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome, open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
